Best Bible Verses

The Bible is the best selling book of all times. What's the reason? The Bible is not just any ordinary book printed and sold, but is the spoken message from God to His children. God speaks to us through His word: The Bible, which is why it is important to read the Bible on a daily basis. Quiet time is vital for healthy Christian life.

It's a time set aside to study the word of God and meditate on what it says. Just like how eating healthy food is important for the normal functioning of the human body, quiet time is a time of feeding your spirit with God's Word.

People who maintain a well disciplined quiet time will grow and blossom into strong Christians. Moreover, scripture is also useful to counter the schemes of the devil and is also useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3: 16).

"He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak."

"But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Memorizing these verses is a good habit. Just write one verse on a blank visiting card and keep it in your purse. As and when you have the time keep reading the verse and memorizing it, such that at the end of the day, you have memorized that one verse.
