Joy is part of the Holy Spirit fruit. Do you have it? If not, you need to know that the power of Jesus Christ's resurrection is inside you, if you gave your heart to Jesus. God has already offered everything you need to live a life to the max, and life from abundance comes through knowing God (not just knowing something about Him).
Get to know Him from the Bible, which is His Word, and you will have the blessings of His joy in your life, regardless of the circumstances around you.
Joy is a constant companion of a true Christian, regardless of circumstances. Jesus Christ set a clear example by looking at the final destination of His walk on earth, and He was more than successful!
You became imitators of us and of the Lord; in spite of severe suffering, you welcomed the message with the joy given by the Holy Spirit. ―1 Thessalonians 1:6

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.―Romans 15:13
