There was once a poor young boy who earned a living selling water to passing travelers at the railway station.
One hot summer day, he called out to passengers "Cold water, only 20 cents a glass!”
A well-dressed gentleman called him over and asked
“Can you make it a little cheaper?”
The little boy looked at the rich man and laughed. “ you’re obviously not thirsty, only stingy!”
The lesson of this story: The price we have to pay to find God is not high - 20 cents like the glass of water. But those who don’t want God will squabble over a few cents.
